Shimano also managed to further improve the optimal interplay of stiffness, aerodynamics and low weight with the wheels of the 9200 Dura Ace generation. With the slim hubs, Shimano’s own DIRECT ENGAGEMENT system is impressive. This significantly shortens the free travel and allows a very direct drive. The high bearing quality and the perfect seal ensure smooth running and a long service life. They are also adjustable and easy to maintain if necessary.

The new freewheel body is made of aluminum and therefore carries significantly less load without sacrificing stability or durability. However, it can only be equipped with the 12-speed Shimano Road cassettes.

Thanks to the 50 mm rim height, this wheelset feels particularly comfortable at high speeds on flat terrain.
